I'm setting up a new server for a client. I wanted to configure a DNS cluster with an existing VPS I have. However I do not want this client to see any DNS zones from the existing VPS.
My first attempt was to setup the cluster with a root user and key. This would allow Zone sync but also reveled the DNS zones on the other VPS in the DNS edit or delete functions when logged in as root on the new server.
So I tried to create a reseller on the other VPS with DNS and clustering privileges. The cluster is there and maps. However I cannot sync any zones to the other VPS from the New server. The new server is set to sync while the VPS is set to standalone.
Any thoughts on this? I want them to have the benefit of the extra DNS server but do not want them to see or edit zones on the other VPS.
Thanks,
Mike
