We had to restore an account that orginally HAD a dedicated ip but after the restore the site has the 'main shared ip' of the server. So I have the account back up and running and now trying to get it back on the dedicated ip. When I go to change the ip (from shared ip to dedicated ip) I get an error message in WHM that says "Cannot determine old ip address"

Anyone have any ideas on this one?

This happened to us once and found that it was an error in the httpd.conf.

You will have to find the <VirtualHost> entry for the shared IP and edit it accordingly. In our case, we noticed two <VirtualHost> entries.... How that happened, I can only guess.

Anyway, hope this points you in the right direction.
