Hi Guys,

Bit of a strange issue but hopefully one that is quick to resolve. Our other server admin attempted to log in this morning using internet explorer and they get is "this page cannot be displayed". I thought this was a little odd so tried logging in using firefox on my laptop as I usually do and it logged in fine. Consequently after checking a few bits and pieces on both computers neither of us can access the login prompt via IE (both on the current version) but all other browsers are working okay.

It was working earlier in the week as we both log in at least a couple of times during the week and nothing was mentioned. I noticed there was a small update that went out last night and wasn't sure if it was related?

Can anyone shed some light as to the cause/ How to rectify the issue?

Thanks in advance

Hello :)

Could you let us know the version of cPanel installed on your system, along with the versions of Windows and IE that you are using when experiencing this issue? This will help us when attempting to reproduce the issue.

Thank you.

Hi Michael,

The server is on WHM 11.46.1 (build 3), the computers we have checked it on are Windows 7 and 8.1 (both 64bit) and both running IE11. If it helps, I tried with an old XP computer running IE8 and that loads the page okay.

Thanks again

haha, unfortunately not. It was the first thing we tried though I haven't logged in using IE on my computer previously but I'm open to suggestions.

Do you notice the URL in the address bar changing? We had a recent case where disabling the option "Always redirect to SSL" under the "Redirection" tab in "WHM >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings" and then re-enabling resolved a similar issue. Does that help in this case?

Thank you.
