I have two systems set up, S1 and S2, both running RHEL and WHM/cpanel. I'd like one system to be a backup to the other, in case the first system crashes. I don't need them to be in sync every minute; if the sync happened nightly, that would be fine.

My question: what is the best way to do this? I want WHM accounts, including email and websites, to be moved over. Ideally, things like cron jobs would also be copied over.

I know that I can manually copy WHM accounts from the old server to the new, but is there some way for them to refresh automatically every night?

    Thanks,

    Brian Leach

Not that I've seen done, no. You would indeed have to migrate the accounts across as you suggested to ensure all the data in the last 24 hours is refreshed.

Once you migrate an account, can you migrate it again, overwriting whatever's there?
