    Hi,

I just installed cpanel and ran "scripts/upcp -force"

I can't seem to get WHM to come up. I see apache running and listening on port 80. But no Ports 2086 and 2087 are running.

I tried to use /etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel start (and restart)

    no luck.

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/080.cpanel4.sh appears to restart all these services but when I check, WHM is not running.

    I'm using freebsd 6.2.

    thanks

Have you got any firewalls running? If so try disabling them, if it then works you need to configure the firewall to allow those ports.

    Dan,

    There is no firewall setup.
Also, running a netstat, doesn't show ports 2086 & 2087 listening. It does show ports 80 and 2078 running, but not the WHM ports

i'm also having this issue after an update earlier. I'm using Release.

Currently rebooting the server, we'll see if that fixes it.
