A while back the padlock image in the left frame of WHM disappeared on me. Whether I use secure or insecure, I don't see the padlock anymore. I think it was around late V4 or early V5 when the image stopped showing.

Cpanel is looking into it. My question is, did anyone else here have their padlock disappear, or is it just me?

    Hello,
This happened awhile back to me for a day or so. It turned out to be IE's cache. I cleared it and all was well again.

    Maybe this will help.

    Doesn't help, but thanks.

It's been a couple months for me and the frame source doesn't even have the code for the image, plus I use Netscape.

It's been 7 months now with no padlock image in WHM. I just got my 2nd server a few days ago and it is exactly the same. My new server is even using the X skin and still no padlock image.

The code in my /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/themes/x/command file has:

    WHMDEFINE:secure
    <img src=/lock.gif> Secure
    ENDWHMDEFINE

    WHMDEFINE:insecure
    <img src=/unlock.gif> InSecure<br><a href="https://$host:2087" target=_top>Click for Secure Site</a>
    ENDWHMDEFINE

so it looks to me like it's supposed to still use the padlock image. I even tried it in IE and there is no code for the lock which means it's not being sent to the browser.

Does your WHM show the padlock image (locked or unlocked) at the top of the left frame?

Mine hasn't been showing it since January.
