My company doesn't allow http traffic outside port 80. Since WHM runs on a different port, I was wondering if there is any way to bring up the WHM logon screen from a specific subdomain listening on port 80? For example, I would create whm.domain.com and logon from there.

    Thanks for any info.

I have a similar problem, some of my costumers can't access cPanel or webmail for the same reason.
I have found several statements saying that there is no solution.

However, I seem to have found one. I am working on a kind of a "PHP proxy". Traffic to http://cpanel.domain.com is forwarded to http://localhost:2082 and similar for webmail and whm.

I have not tested it very much yet, but it seemes that the only thing that is not working is file upload. I should be possible to make support for this too.

The code is still just an ugly hack, but I plan to publish it when I have cleaned it up a bit.

If anybody is interested in the current ugly code, email me at niels@myplace.dk. I'd be very happy if someone would help me making the file upload support, or the "cleaning". :)

When I publish it, it will be available at http://myplace.dk/php/cpanelproxy, but right now it's just a 404. ;-)
