WHM root packs can be seen by resellers

Hello.

I want to have some packs created in the root WHM user, to assign to resellers.

Problem is, these packs can be seen by the resellers, when creating new accounts - and I do not want to do be so.

I also don't want to use that option in reseller privileges, where I must manually approve every pack which the reseller creates.

Now I was under the impression, that resellers could only see packs with their reseller username as the prefix? Why is this not so, in this specific instance?

In reseller center edit which packages you want them to have access to. Each reseller can be different.

Please read:

Limit Accounts that {reseller account name} can create by Resource Usage. (Access to packages the user creates is automatically granted unless account creation has been limited to pre-assigned packages above. Access is not automaticlly granted to system/root created packages unless specifically defined below.)
