Normally when we do a "upgrade to latest version" in WHM we see a line-by-line update of what the progress is of the upcp update. Today we went from Freebsd STABLE 11.10.0-STABLE_16448 to the Freebsd RELEASE 11.11.0-RELEASE_16709 and while it was working the main "progress screen" remained blank.

We did see the little "bullet" at the top going left-to-right and the incremental percentage indicator increasing 10%, 20%, etc.. but nothing on the main screen. Luckily we have our machines in house so I walked to the console and I could see it doing work via "ps ax" and the eventual "Cpanel Layer 2 Update Commencing" on the system console and then the Cpanel Layer 2 install complete.

Only at the VERY end when it hit 100% and a minute or so passed did the whole upcp info pop up, which leads me to believe it was building a single html page through the process instead of giving updates as it went along. This makes it impossible to keep an eye out for errors or "weirdo" messages that might pop up.

Anyone else see this sort of thing on a manual run of upcp from WHM since going to Cpanel 11 stable ???

We still see this on ALL updates, we are running the latest CURRENT update right now and its still doing it. Very nerve wracking to not know whats going on until the end. If upcp breaks we dont know what it died on and if it would create the rest of the output to check it out.
