I installed this program, works fine in WHM , but the users in the control panel cannot see the icon for the plugin.
I have upgraded to cpanel 11. Does this program currently support cpanel 11?

It does not currently supports cpanel 11, please try "x" or "x2" skin.
I'm going to release a free upgrade for cpanel 11 in 2nd week of June.

If you are having problem with x or x2 theme, please email me your IM screen name.. Yahoo, MSN or AOL.
I'll take a look at it right away.

Is there anyway to know how much bandwidth the servers are using?

I have 6 clients and no idea what they are using...

The cron runs nightly, but graphs in WHM or their account show no usage.

Please advise.

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry, I have been a bit slow in replying your emails.
I'm moving to a new apartment next week and everything is a bit messed up on my end.
I'll be back, working my normal hours after 2nd June.

Thank you for your patience.

I use :

Code:
0 4 * * * /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php -q /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/shoutcastadmin/logrotate.php

Code:
0 0 * * * /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php -q /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/shoutcastadmin/logrotate.php
Doesn't work.
I was going to try to fix it myself, however everything is encrypted.

Problem is not with the log rotation script, for some reason shoutcast is unable to write the logs.. therefore log rotation script has nothing to process..

So, the permission on the 'etc/shoutcast/logs' as set per the installation of '666' is NOT correct?

What can we do to fix this? In your screenshots, the graphs seem to working OK. I have root access to my servers...

That permission is correct, 0666 means "write by all", yet shoutcast is unable to write logs.
It worked on my test server, but for some reason it doesn't work many client servers.

It is able to write logs when the permission is set to 0777 or 777, but i wont recommend doing that... because it is a security risk.

Another solution is that I'll have to configure all shoutcast servers to run under user "nobody", like apache/httpd.. but in that case we'll loose the instant restart options for the servers.. shoutcast restart requests will be delayed by ~5 minutes.. I'll have to create another cron to process these shoutcast restart requests..

I'm still trying to solve this problem..

Alright, thanks.

Do you have any idea when this will fixed, as it is crucial to be able to monitor usage for our clients.

On a side note, the rest of the script works great. We have about 7 customers all running fine.

Also, it is possible to add the ability to specify a 'admin' password from WHM also. Everytime I setup a server, I have to edit the config file to add the web admin passoword.

That's about it. Thanks!

just bought this add-on and installed it ,
some of problems are

1- It doesn't support Cpanel's " x2 "and " x3 (cpanel 11) themes , it's Icon won't show up unless
youcahnge your cpanel's theme to " x " .

2- lack of documentations , Does anyone knows what is this addon's default path for each user ?

say like , I want to have a " /content " folder my shoutcast , where this folder has to be created for each user ?

or which folder does port "8000" points to ? I need to upload a listen.asx and listen.ram file so my listener's can click on it and listem to my radio by REAL player and Windows Media player as well as Winamp which use listen.pls by default .

Can anyone help ?
thanks alot
