A folding menu version of the X theme for WHM:

*to install, rename x_fold.zip to x_fold.whmtheme and then install via WHM
*to open on a windows machine rename to x_fold.tar.gz

DO the changes you have made not effect what the side menu shows? @Cos when I change the "command" file it makes my menu look as if its for a reseller

I did not touch the ACL calls, so what appears should in WHM should be the same for the standard x and this x_fold.

You are saying that you see different menu options with x_fold than the standard x ?

    Enhancement (Copied from another thread)

Nice Work Man! I love it, I hated scrolling I have been trying to get myself to do that for a long time. I just never had the time. Thanks for helping the community out.

I made a few adjustments since I did have some time today. Its been awhile since I last done any DHTML lol. We use very similar scripting so I just used duplicated some of yout code to make some other effects.

The coding isn't to fancy it is quite direct actually. This is what I have added

Menu On Option \\ Disables all menus and effects
Multi-Select Option \\ Enables users to open multiple menus (much how you had it)
closes all unused menus \\ Closes a menu when the user selects one to view
mouseover background effect \\ the background changes for easier selection
changed background \\ for easier eye appeal
arrow to hand cursor switch \\ for easier selection and more like a menu button
Expand All Menus \\ Expand all Menus
Collapse all Menus \\ Collapses all Menus

I tooled around with some other features, however I was running out of time..hopefully we can continue making this one better, this really suits my needs and hope it will help others out.

Hope you like the additions man thanks again.

    Kyle

Well I'm new to all the WHM themes and stuff but in the .zip should there be all the images and .htm(l) files? because in the frist one there was only one file with no extion?

There is no extension because it is not needed, infact if you renamed the files to include `.htm` that would render the file useless within the theme.

WHM themes are different from regular themes as they use different ways of producing a webpage.

I believe you are speaking about he "x_fold" file with no extension inside of the zipped document. This is another zipped file it is actually a "tar" file. All you should have to do is extrract or unzip "x_fold" again. I am not exactly sure why it is this way.

So extract x_fold with no extension from the xfold.zip file. Once it is exracted extract the x_fold files. After that you should see all of the needed html and command files for WHM.

    Hope this helps

    Hey,

I am not too sure of how to make a themeball. I just upload the directory directly into :

    usr/local/cpanel/whostmngr/docroot/themes

    Rs-Freddo knows how too though.

Sorry any help here would be great!

    Thanks,

    Kyle

I checked your new themeball in the other thread and it looks fine - but WHM says it's not a themeball....

Your first one was obviously wrong but the second one sure looks correct.

OK, I repacked your themeball using tgz and oddly enough it is uploaded OK... weird.

    Just a few things:
    1) no mouseover effects
    2) no cursor change
    3) menus only open if multi-menu is on

Attached is Kyles repacked revision. Don't forget you need to change the .zip to .whmtheme

It looks exactly the same as "x" -- the only difference is that the categories in the sidebar are collapsible (and start off collapsed). If you open each section, you won't be able to tell "x" and this theme apart.

I know that, but brentp wanted to know what it looked like, so I described it. It doesn't really need screenshots.
