Hi!

I recently hired a developer to customise the WHM theme. This included not only changing the WHM dashboard logo, but also the WHM background colours, hyperlink colours and other. After the WHM upgrade to v.54, the customisation was lost. I am looking for information on how to avoid my customised theme to be overwritten during each WHM update process. Any advice is welcome!

Hi Michael,

The developer checked all the points at
How to Customize the WHM User Interface with CSS - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation
however, customisation still is being overwritten during WHM upgrades. Here are his comments "our issue is main.css and menu.css does not load in our WHM theme, so we can't modify it. Also i can't understand HOW the theme Changes i did could be removed as we cloned the X theme to a name "CompanyTheme", which should not be touched at any WHM update as far as i know. However if we get main.css and menu.css to work i will apply the Changes there again and that should work."

Please, any advice on how to solve this issue is welcome :)

Hello,

Does re-running /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/themes/x/rebuildtmpl resolve the matter?

If not, where are you storing the css files?

Hi Kenneth,

the developer executed the rebuildtmpl but the theme is not working. Menu.css and main.css do not load. The files are stored on /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/themes/CompanyNewTheme.

Any advice is welcome!
