    hi

    I;m using centos 6.5

WHM » Server Configuration » Update Preferences shows Daily Updates, Operating System Package Updates, SpamAssassin® Rules Updates

should I set all of them to automatic? If I set OS package update to automatic is there any risk involved? I mean if something goes wrong do we have roll back option? or should I leave it as manual update? I know I can update cpanel/WHM manually how can I update OS packages manually?

    Thanks

    Hello :)

You could manually update your OS packages with YUM. EX:

    Code:
    yum update
I don't see anything wrong with configuring automatic package updates, but keep in mind you will still have to run "yum update" manually and then reboot the server whenever a newer kernel is available.

    Thank you.
