WHM using root (not reseller) DNS Zone Templates and configs

    I use a reseller service and my host has told me to file a ticket here. Sometime with the recent automatic updates of cPanel/WHM, there have been some changes that suck for us resellers.

    1) First and foremost, when a client (sub account) creates an addon domain in cPanel, it shows the root email:

    Notification => user@resellerprovider.com via EMAIL [level => 3]
    2) When a new domain is created via cPanel thru any of the sub accounts, it does not use my DNS Zone Templates (probably because I'm at the reseller level) it pulls from the root's DNS Zone Templates to create the DNS Zone.

    3) When a new hosting account is created using a billing management system to access WHM (via "Remote Access Key") it uses again, the root's DNS Zone Templates and not the reseller's DNS Zone Templates.

    I noticed this change occurr within the past few weeks so it had to come inherent with an update from build 27, build 25, build 18, build 16 or build 10. Here are all the updates we have received for the month of September:

    If you want someone from cPanel to help then you'll need to log a ticket through your cPanel license provider (directly with cPanel if you bought it from them).
