    Hi all,

    We are trying to install additional perl mods via
    WHM for use on the server.

    We have clicked on Install Perl mods.
    Done a search for the mod
    It comes up with a list of mods to install
    then says click mod name to install
    but nothing happens.

    At the top of the WHM it states Attempting to Install
    and then the name of the mod.

    In the status bar of the browser it says done.
    But when we login to an account to view the perl
    mods installed on the server it does not list the mods
    that were just installed.

    We have even done a restart of of the services after the install.

    So this is telling me that WHM / Cpanel is not installing the mods at all
    does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks and in need of immediate assistance.
    Tim

    Incase it is erroring out, I'd suggest installing your modules from the shell prompt using:

    /scripts/perlinstaller Example::Foobar

    Where Example or Example::Foobar is the perl module you want to install.

    Well without root shell access (use an SSH client to login using the root account and password), I'm not sure how much help I can be. Presumably, someone has the root password to SSH into the server?

    Hi,

    Sorry, I'd missed your update. Your problem is here:
    You can clean out the cpan databases without problems using:

    rm -Rf /root/.cpcpan
    rm -Rf /root/.cpan
    rm -Rf /home/.cpan
    /scripts/perlinstaller
    /scripts/perlinstaller Tree::MultiNode
