Looking at WHM system requirements at System Requirements - cPanel Inc., RHEL 6 is supported.

So was wondering since Oracle Linux 6.x is close to a clone of RHEL 6.x, if anyone has tried WHM with Oracle Linux 6.x ?

You can even switch from RHEL 6.x to Oracle Linux Unbreakable Kernel builds. So I managed to switch my test CentOS 6.2 to use Oracle Linux Unbreakable Kernel 2.6.32-300.25.1 and 2.6.39-100.7.1 kernels

    Code:
    [root@]# uname -r
    2.6.32-300.25.1.el6uek.x86_64

    [root@]# uname -r
    2.6.39-100.7.1.el6uek.x86_64

    [root@]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.2 (Santiago)

    Code:
    [root@]# yum -q list kernel-uek kernel-uek-devel kernel-uek-firmware kernel-uek-headers ql2400-firmware ql2500-firmware
    Installed Packages
    kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.25.1.el6uek @ol6_latest/6

Even if it does work, we would be unable to support any issues under that system. We only support the OS listed in our documentation.

I would highly suggest opening up a feature request to ask we support that OS instead:

    Feature Requests for cPanel/WHM

    Thanks!
