Just want to get his off my chest – CPANEL INC should make all new service providers sit through a three hour examination and testing session if they intent to sell reseller hosting!

I am sick and tired of administrators that have no clue how to setup cPanel correctly because this is driving potential clients away from resellers like me.

cPanel don't sell reseller hosting. The sell software to clients with dedicated servers. How they implement the software is their business.

are one of these service providers?

I'm asking myself, "is this reply from one of these service providers that make me so sick?" because I never said or implied that CPANEL INC sells hosting!

By implication you conclude that CPANEL INC should not give a hoot about what service providers are doing with their software or how it reflects on their image as long as they make a buck!

If this is the attitude of the majority of service providers then I will no longer have to mull over the idea of hanging onto cPanel.

    No, it isn't
Actually what you said was completely ambiguous:
No indication in there whether "they" is cPanel or the reseller. I took it to mean cPanel.

If you don't like cPanel, don't use it. There's no point coming here and complaining to server administrators. If you have a complaint, tell it to cPanel:
    billing@cpanel.net

Yep, silly me, I can see how "all new service providers" can be completely ambiguous.

You said "If you don't like cPanel, don't use it." and I say "Not to worry, I just moved to another control panel"
