whmsonic problem

i setup everything for an internal whmsonic user but when i start the shoutcast and auto dj it stll says

SHOUTCAST STREAM IS OFFLINE

Possible Reasons:

- There is no DJ on the stream or AutoDJ is OFF.

- I would like to be a DJ, here is the video link for how to use winamp + DSP: /http://www.whmsonic.com/videos/dsp/dsp.html

- If you have access for AutoDJ, you can also setup AutoDJ.


PS- i doubled check the port and the port is open so the problem is not from that =/

from multi account functions have you started the radio?
is it online?
when you create the account have you click the auto dj option?

create an folder mp3 on /home and upload some files on it and setup autodj and your issue will be solved

i know, but the whmsonic support is dead, i sent a ticket 3 month ago and i still havnt got any respond, they dont give support anymore
and of course i did that in the first step, but it didnt work

Ok this is what happens
when i turn on the Auto DJ it says it was successful and everything, so it send me back to main admin area of whmsonic, i click on auto DJ and it does say that the auto DJ is on BUT if i open Stream & Listeners Status, it give the error i told you, and then when i come back to main page and open the auto DJ again it says it's off, sound stupid, but true! =/

Anyone have any idea how can i solve this (whmsonic solved it for one my users before, but they are not there anymore to solve it, so i need someone else’s help)

Hello,

I faced this problem many times with my WHMSonic everywhere, and the solution is weird, but for me always works.

Inside your WHMsonic radio panel, acess "AutoDJ Managements", click "Remove Autodj".

Comeback to "AutoDJ Managements" and reinstall Autodj with your prefered setings.

If you /home/*account*/mp3 has already some .mp3 files, the AUTODJ NOW WILL WORK.

Probably there is some problem with the first installs...

your not the only one i sent ticket 15th march still no reply also there forum is always down i think they no theres problems but cannot be asked with unhappy customers the software only works when it feels like it,

I'm going to guess you all are using CentOS. Try this. It fixed my problem. Copy paste as root.

cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/whmsonic/tools/autodj; chattr -ia *; chmod 755 *; chattr +ia *; yum install -y libstdc++ libstdc++-4.4.6-4.el6.i686; cd /root/;

i have same problem

random autodj go offline , try to force online but not work..

for now for fix i need to restart my dedicated server..

cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/whmsonic/tools/autodj; chattr -ia *; chmod 755 *; chattr +ia * <-- this comand fix this problem without restart ?

n.b. sonicpanel assistance is dead 2020.
