    Hi, I've been trying to figure out what went wrong after uninstalling RVSkin which broke the WHMSonic redirection to the Csonic template.

    I couldn't find anywhere the solution, I've requested support to WHMSonic team and they never answered my ticket, fortunately I found the solution by myself and I want to share it with the community.

    You must be root to do all these steps

    Steps to Reproduce
    1. Uninstall RVSkin in a cPanel that has WHMSonic plugin installed.
    2. Login to a WHMSonic account via :2082
    3. The account will redirect you to x3 skin instead of Csonic template

    Solution (I used WinSCP since I'm a Linux Newbie)
    • Login to the server with WinSCP
    • Locate folder /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend
    • There should be a folder named sonic if not, then we need to create the folder in lowercase
    • Now inside the sonic folder we need 2 files and a shortcut, create a file named dynamicui.conf then create another file named index.html
    • The index.html must have this source code:
      <META http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=csonic/index.php?mode=0">
    • Finally create a shortcut named csonic which should point to /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/csonic

    Voilà WHMSonic should redirect normally to the csonic skin instead of x3 Skin.

    I hope this information could help you if you ever face with this problem.

    Regards to everyone.
