why apache graceful restart take long time

    apache graceful restart take long time, anyone can help me?

    Graceful restarts are the "pretty please" of restarts. Apache child processes can block the restart, which can result in behavior you noted. Non-graceful restarts tell the children to "quiet down and go to bed OR ELSE" which results in Apache restarting in a timely manner.
