Why does RoR get no love?

Why isn't RoR being updated?

I see these threads:

That's back in 2011, it's now 2013. What's the excuse why RoR isn't being kept up with the current versions?

Am I correct to assume you're referring to Rails 3? If so, the reason why we're not updating Rails to version 3.x is due to the stable release of mongrel not supporting this version of Rails. Now, Mongrel 1.2 is said to work with Rails 3 -- though this is a beta version and we feel putting in support for a beta Gem, one that hasn't been updated since 2010 could cause issues with other gems or legacy apps. If you do wish to use Rails 3, you could in theory use mod_rails (passenger) though note this is not supported either at this time. Installing passenger could work on your system, though you would be unable to utilize the app creation and management via cPanel and then view it working with passenger.

If you are not referring to Rails 3, please let us know which version you're referring to.
