    Hello All,

    Stable/Release
    WHM 6.2.0
    cPanel 6.4.0
    Redhat 7.3

I have two servers with the above on it. one is one release and second is one stable tree.

I want to know why Apache is crashing on both these servers. Due to the Bloddy Ancient "FD_SETSIZE" problem. Which was suppose to be fixed by cPanel long long back.

I am on the latest kernel 2.4.18-27.7.x and 2.4.20 resp. the ulimit is unlimited on both still Apache crashes

I did easyapache and RAISE File Limit stuff. Now they are wroking fine for me.

My question is WHY is this happening Again??

    Regards,

Yeah, sure would like to know how to make this a permanent fix as well, the problem has returned on our servers more than once after running easyapache and raising this ridiculously low limit
