    I'm looking for a way to enable wildcard domains (*.domain.com) on any new account I will create.

    I was searching for a solution a couple of months ago and I found it here but now I cannot see it anymore. It probably was removed as it was very old.

    As I remember there are two changes to be done: one in the DNS template (*.%domain%. IN A %ip%) available within WHM, and the second into some file (?) which should enable automatically addition of a server alias (*.domain.com) in the virtual host section of httpd.conf

    Could you please point me in the right direction ? Thanks

    I finaly found the thread and I saw I woud have to modify the script wwwacc under /scripts/ folder. Unfortunatelly I did not see it work as expected since I'd want to use Account.inc.php's functions for automating account creation.

    You can edit the current DNS zone template and make it to add the following line.

    * 14400 IN A <ip address>
