I've created a key with the host being *.domain.org.uk

I go to create the CSR using that host, fill in the details and i get an error:

Sorry, the value of host [*.domain.org.uk] was not valid, or too short.

How do i go about creating a wildcard certificate if it's not valid?

    Version: WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.6-R27698
