Are there any plans to fix the limitation of cpanel regarding wildcard ssl and subdomains on a single IP address?

There is no reason that all subdomains need to have their own account and dedicated IP,

other control panels do not have this limit,

well now according to the support folks here
the ONLY way to make a wildcard certificate work for a subdomain is with a redirect

there are no other ways to do this,

forgive me but this is horsecrap,

you cant use a freakin wildcard cert but they sell them in whm through their partners......

give me a break is cpanel going this much to crap or is the support just going to hell?

here is one of the excerpts from our all day conversaition

now with this insight in mind why would one purchase a wildcard certificate,
Hell I can do that with a $14.00 cert from godaddy
