    Scenario:
    - 192.168.1.130 is my main server IP. This IP is also used as the shared IP on the sever (default behavior afaik).
    - DNS name = server.domain.com

    Some people have been complaining about SSL warnings connecting to Webmail and using SSL for mail.domain.com.
    To fix this we bought a wildcard SSL certificate for *.domain.com.

    Trying to install this certificate for server.domain.com is impossible as 192.168.1.130 is the shared IP for the server. What is the best and least disruptive way to handle this?

    Please give this a try

    # WHM - SSL/TLS - Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain

    # Put the .crt on the first box
    Domain = change the *.domain.com to server.domain.com
    user = nobody
    IP Address = 192.168.1.130

    # Remove the key (if it auto fetches as this might come from a previous cert) and put your key associated with the wildcard ssl on the Key field

    # If you have a ca-bundle, please do the same as mentioned above for the last box

    # Click on Submit at the top

    #WHM - SSL/TLS - Manage SSL Hosts
    Select your ssl from the drop down box and click on Share

    This should get you going
