I'm trying to setup Wildcard Subdomains on an Addon Domain.
I edited the httpd.conf and changed ServerAlias to:

    Code:
    ServerAlias *.mydomain.com mydomain.com

I also added * as a IN to the server IP

Note: I'm running my own private nameservers. Is this possible or should I just create another account for this domain?

    Figured it out.

Added Subdomain "*" to the addon domain under cPanel and had its document root the same as the Addon Domain's.

Not sure if all that DNS editing helped, but oh well!

Right. Adding the sub-domain '*' will do the trick. But that, in turn, will create a '* IN A' entry in the DNS zone file automatically ;)
