Only if there is a problem with images.

Coding for Cpanel must always be the same (for Cpanel functions/features to work) and layouts can only be done so many ways. Plus, a layout cannot be copyrighted -- only images in this case, as the Content must also be the same for Cpanel functions/features.

Quite a large problem with the images, as any ModernBill customer will see immediately.

I could have phrased my question better. I work with copyrights all the time. I should have asked if permission had been granted. Personally, I'd grant it, simply because so many ModertnBill users are using an API module to create and manage accounts on CPanel boxes. I've seen ModernBill called from inside CPanel and vice versa.

Thanks, Rob. As a frequent copyright HOLDER I may see this differently than some folks. :)

Your welcome, Mike and thanks for specifing the problem was with the images themselves. As I do not use MB and have never seen any MB images, created or copyrighted for their use, I took a guess that your question was about the images in particular.

n/p, Rob.

From what I've seen, as still a newbie in this business, the "cloning" of themes is a fairly common topic. What you really want is a first cousin, even a brother or a sister, not a literal clone.

For example, when I get around to it I want to customize Cpanel. But I'll only change the colors and logo of Blue Lagoon, mostly to keep the updates simple. Plus, ALL the themes make the same error, in my view -- no visual difference between a folder and an action.

Thanks, again.
