I'd installed PostgreSQL and want to re-compile PHP to support PostgreSQL, so I'll use EasyApache, now will re-compiling PHP so, will this overwrite previous setting files, (php, apache, etc.) config files ??

if so, how can I prevent this ?!

I am sure it will overwrite some settings, we have a custom PHP debugger that we always have to reset the settings in the php.ini after any rebuilds. Not sure how to stop it so I would be interested in someones feedback as well. Right now we just work around it.
