Will this cpanel server config work?

    hi. im thinking of getting my own cpanel server in my house.
    i propose to do it like ths following image:

    will this work? if i redirect all the ports needed from the smoothwall server to the cpanel server. if not could you suggest how it could work.

    So long as you have a static IP address on the internet side of your firewall and you get the port forwarding right, then yes it does work. Remember, though, that cPanel is registered to the internet side IP address and not to your LAN one, which is why it must be static.

    Did you get this working, I have something simlour to you setup here in my local network. But i have an issue with NAT. So i have to manually edit the DNS records when i add a website as the httpd.conf has to read the local/private ip and the DNS record has to reflect the public/external IP. Do you have this problem with using Smoothwall. That is the only difference to you is i am using a Netgear router with an intergrated NAT firewall and you are using smoothwall. And as you may or may not know cPanel doesnt support NAT at the moment. So advice is needed here is how i can fix my small issue.
