According to MySQL/MariaDB, the config files on my server are at /etc/my.cnf and ~/.my.cnf.
I have to make changes to my.cnf for the entire server (all accounts). I would have expected to be able to add a new .cnf file into /etc/my.cnf.d/ but there doesn't seem to be an !includedir directive anywhere so those files are not read.
Therefore it seems like the only thing I can do is edit /etc/my.cnf directly.
So my question is, will WHM or cPanel ever remove the /etc/my.cnf changes I have made?
Thanks!
