Without .php extension index file not working

    Hello there,

    we are facing some trouble while accessing our PHP based website after we migrated to updated cpanel, the PHP based website is not working without .php on the website. kindly anyone advises me what I have to change in .htaccess

    Could you let us know the name of the file you are attempting to open in your browser and the contents of the .htaccess file in the document root for this domain name? Also, please post the output from the following commands:

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_phpconf --current

    There I have posted my PHP version and current handlers which they are running in our server,

    [root@srv ~]# cat /usr/local/cpanel/version
    11.62.0.16
    [root@srv ~]# /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_phpconf --current
    DEFAULT PHP: ea-php56
    ea-php55 SAPI: cgi
    ea-php56 SAPI: cgi
    ea-php70 SAPI: cgi

    please check out this.
