Hey, I just setup my own DNS Zones and pointed my domain name toward them. This is how my Webhost Manager looks.

    Main Shared Virtual Host IP
    xx.56.182.26

    Hostname
    admin.mydomain.com

    Primary Nameserver
ns1.mydomain.com, assigned to the IP xx.56.182.26
(same as Main Shared Virtual Host IP)

When I go to Edit DNS Zones, i see the following

    admin.mydomain.com (my hostname)
mydomain.com (manually created this Entry because it asked for it when I went to put an A entry for ns1.mydomain.com)
    localhost.zone
    mail

    within admin.mydomain.com it shows:
    Domain: admin.mydomain.com
    TTL: 14400
    Record Type: NS
    ns1.mydomain.com

And a bunch of other stuff below that, including an A entry of xx.56.182.26

within mydomain.com it shows an A entry of ns1 with the IP adress xx.56.182.26, and a bunch of other A entries and so on and so on.

I'm wondering if this all SEEMS correct. I already pointed my domain name to ns1.mydomain.com (the Nameserver I created) and I am working on creating an ns2.mydomain.com with a second Ip adress.I just want to know if the first Nameserver I created seems like it will work once the DNS stuff propogates in 1-2 days.

    Let me know. Thanks :D
