I've got one server that the wordpress installs from the cpanel addons seems to work, but logging in as admin nets a white page. I've tried increasing the php memory limit and about 10 other things, I can't seem to make it work.

Probably something simple, it works on all the other servers (8 others).

Just need a clue, been over worked and slightly brain dead lately. Thanks-

I check access logs all the time but never error logs. In the chance of sounding stupid.... where are they?

Never mind, found the log, it's huge. I'm generating errors so I can go in and search by specific time. Downloading now-

The only error that was generated immediately when I tried to acces the admin panel was:

/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/suhosin.so: undefined symbol: zend_atol

Problem solved, it was suhosin. I compared server configs to one I was able to set WP up on. Had to recompile without suhosin.

The problem in particular was that admin.php in wordpress attempts to alter the php memory limit.

So you can mark the thread solved. I think wordpress needs to put this in their docs because I wasted a lot of time diagnosing a problem for a product I don't even use.
