Wordpress install error

I'm using WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-C117 and I went to install Wordpress on a clients account. The install went fine, then I went to the address.

When you login you get:

"Your database is out-of-date. Please upgrade."

*upgrade is a link that goes to /wp-admin/upgrade.php; this file does not exist

Any ideas?
