    Am I on the correct track here?

    /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/std/username/domain.com
    I created these directories ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^

    In the domain.com directory, I created a file called wpmu.conf and placed the following:

    <Directory>
    "AllowOverride FileInfo Options"
    </Directory>

    <VirtualHost>
    ServerAlias *.domain.com
    </VirtualHost>

    Is this correct?

    If so...now what? :)

    Hmm, are you just trying to create a wildcard subdomain? If so, assuming you're on 11.24, all you need to do is go to your cPanel interface, create a subdomain and when prompted for what you want that subdomain to be, enter: * as your subdomain. cPanel/WHM will handle everything from there.

    There is no need to create any configuration files for EasyApache just to create a wildcard subdomain. You may wish to consider relocating the configuration file you made until you are comfortable that cPanel/WHM is doing what you need it to do.
