Ok I am confused by this.
I am installing whmsubs to one of my hosts and it says to change the permissions for two files. One to write and the other to execute. Can someone give me the proper numeric settings for these?

    Thanks.

You should do a little research for this issue. It is not that hard.

Premission 666 will set r/w for owner/group/public, 755 will set ex/r/w for owner, r/ex for other two groups.

Thanks. I have researched, which is why I came here. We are not all cPanel gurus. The programe I am installing just says change directory x to write and files x and x to execute.
