One Cpanel user created a database. The database was given a prefix for another user and not him. The text on the cpanel screen said that the prefix would be xxx which was correct but the database was acctually prefixed with yyy.

I immediately deleted the account from WHM as I didn't want any issues with security between two sites. I then tried to add the account back in but whm kept saying the user already existed. I had to rebuild the account with a different admin name.

Now, I just got a call from the other client (yyy) and he says one of his databases is missing. Somehow these two user's security got screwed up or something.

Any idea what would cause this or what I can do to prevent it from happening in the future? The accounts are created automatically with ModernBill.

    Server:
    WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.1-S65
    Fedora - WHM X v3.1.0

    This is very scary.

Thanks for any help/advise on what to do.
