Wrong username/password for POP, but Horde works fine

New install of cPanel 10.8.2-STABLE 120 this morning. E-mail was working fine for a few hours, and then all services stopped working; users would get wrong username/password errors in Outlook and Horde.

I've since restarted all services, ran some commands given by my host and some found here. IMAP now works great, but POP is still giving the wrong username/password error.

Any ideas? I'll try anything at this point.

You're most likely running the wrong pop3 daemon. Check in /etc/xinetd.d/ for any pop files hat have "disable = no" in them. If they have, set the to "disable = yes" and then:

service xinetd restart
/scripts/restartsrv_courier
