I'm sorry folks, I know this is bound to have come up before but it strikes me there's a serious problem when every time upcp runs it goes through the whole routine of installing the mod only to uninstall the damned thing again.
Surely it would make more sense to stop the thing from installing the module if it can't handle it or shouldn't...
Given that this now affects more than one module
- XML::LibXML
- Graph::Easy
- Mail::SPF
... I'm finding the standing excuse "Oh we're just waiting on the next version, there's a problem with X one" a little unlikely.
Rant I know but this is an issue that should be getting stickied and not allowed to drop off the scope every day or so...
