What's the exact error you encounter when trying to browse to www.example.com?

Check that you have a 'www' A record for the relevant domain.

This should be of the form:

    Code:
    www 14400 IN CNAME example.com.
Note: the trailing dot after 'example.com' is essential - 'example.com.' will work whereas 'example.com' won't.

Use www.dnsstuff.com to check out the domain, or let us know what the domain is so we can take a look. If you put your www.domainname.com into dnsstuff.com's top right box, it should give you a little more detail. (No IP address means problems)
