    Hi,

    On all but one domain,

    domainname.com and www.domainname.com works fine.

On one domain name, www.domainname.com does not resolve but domainname.com does. I checked httpd.conf and it has the alias in it for www. The zone has the cname for www. Is there anyplace/thing else to try looking into?

    Thanks.

if its not resolving then its a dns problem and nothing to do with apache.

SSH to the cpan server (as root) and do an nslookup on both www.x.com and x.com. if it does not resolve on the cpan box then you have a problem.
try restarting named, remove/readd the domain.

if it does resolve, are you using a secondary name server?.. could there be a problem with that?

dnsreport.com will also help diagnose issues if you're not comfortable or fluent in command line diagnostics.
