Hello,

We have a customer that wants to use an extrenal mail server (i.e. big mail box). What I'm wondering is although his domain is on our server, will all the mail sent from our server be delivered to his big mail box account? What if he has a catch-all default account on setup on the server, will this interfere?

Please advise.

Just change the MX entry. The catch all may or may not interfere. Trial and error on that. My guess is it won't. All mail will be rerouted before it even hits the server to be examined due to MX entry.

Thank you for replying awsol. If I may bother you with another question..

Maybe people that use BigMailBox's and Everyone.net's services offer free email to their users. What if our customer wanted to send email to these users via a PHP script on our server, I'm guessing the emails wouldn't go to BigMailBox/Everyone.net even with the catch-all deleted?
