Xskins Updated 03-04-03

Xskins now updated. Current version is 1.6 for cPanelX and whmX. You can download the new version here:

whmX Version 1.6 Change Log:
- Added Contact Manager
- Added Cluster functions
- Added Reset Accounts to Package Bandwidth
- Added Branding (WHM Only)
- Moved /mts -> /scripts2/mts2
- Moved /installssl -> /scripts2/installssl

Version 1.6 has been sent to cPanel for inclusion in WHM; however skins are only updated in WHM at the discretion of the cPanel staff.

Hello Bert, a couple of things for Xskin v1.6

In email account maintenance section of the new theme the option "Show diskspace used do not work". Was this part of the update? Interestingly enough, the Show diskspace used option does not work with the iconic theme either. Only works with the default theme. Im trying to add this option but can t find the html they are using to display the quote space.

The SSH/Telnet option. Does this option appear if the user does not have SSH access?

Hey bert,
With CPanel branding introduced (yet still far away) how about using <cpanel PkgInfo="strippedplanname()"> for the plan name. This removes the reseller's name from it and looks more professional.

Also, the change password page is a little confusing. I think its the same way in most other themes, but:
Please do not make your password too simple and always write in down in a safe place.
Then later
Don't write down your password - memorize it.

If the account does not have SSH privilages, no option for it will show. This is one of the new features for v6. Although I've only checked it in Bluelagoon, it works as advertized.

It is implemented in the Xskin exactly the same way it is implemented in the default skin, therefore if it does not work, ask the cPanel team.

This functionality is not implemented on Xskin. It will be for version 1.7.

This works on my customised skin, and the blue lagoon theme.

You need to update the pops table statement to :

<cpanel Email="listpopstable($FORM{'extras'})">

I would like to point out that: E-Mail > Manage Accounts > Show Disk Space Used, works just fine in E104 : Bluelagoon.

Nice touch BTW, and nice to know that, although new, it is a working feature.

Hey thanks for that, works now. Geez i looked the the difference between the two, default and Xskin's pops.html and couldnt see the difference and it was staring me right in the fact all the time.

Hi,

thanks for the updated Theme... I just posted this in the Cpanel forum and thought you might like to know about it here and make the changes to the theme if need be...

In sub-domains manager -> setup redirects it shows the sub-domain in the following manner:-

sub_domain.com.domain.com is currently being redirected to

I think this is a new problem, as i dont remember seeing it with cpanel 5.

Also, there is a problem deleting the sub-domains from DNS, not sure if this is part of the same problem or not, but I thought i would mention it.

The tags in the page need to be changed.

This is what the tags used to be and are what is in most themes.
<cpanel print="$FORM{'domain'}">.<cpanel print="DOMAIN">

This is the NEW tags which work perfectly.
<cpanel sprint="$FORM{'domain'},_,0">.<cpanel sprint="$FORM{'domain'},_,1">

On your site it says you can install X skin from WHM, but I can't find X skin in new CPanel/WHM 6, where is ?
Does this version of X skin for CPanel1.7 & WHM1.6 works on new CPanelWHM 6?
