is it possible to be language aware to update it from WHM ? i translated it manually via editing the html files

I was unable to download the newest XSkin for WHM. Does anyone know if the following problem is fixed?

I have resellers that have access to edit packages but XSkin does not display the option for them and the normal WHM skins like back do.

Hi Bert,

Great skins you are making and thanks for sharing them!
I have a few ideas for you and maybe you can do something with it.

First, can you make your skin start with a beginner and advance icon? I find that users sometimes get overwhelmed with all the options so it scares them. So instead of all the icons at once you get just two icons letting people choose to go to the beginners screen (just the main functions as mail and stuff) and the advanced icon leads to the screen that shows every icon/option. Is this a stupid idea?

Second, could you make a skin that has the same looks as modernbill has? It would be nice that everything looks a like

Just suggestions btw.

Hi guys,

Sorry I keep missing the posts, I have not been around here for a while.

The beginner and advanced icons will certainly be a lot of work because we would then have to find a way to tell the skin where to go (advanced or beginner) when a user clicks on &HOME&. This is certainly something that can be done, but perhaps sometime in the future.

As for Modernbill, well that will certainly be difficult, but I am very interested in this approach, I will look into this more deeply.

Hi Bert,

I love your Xskin theme. I noticed a couple of things that need to be updated in the Cpanel & WHM theme

Cpanel:
- Under Shopping Carts the links for Interchange and Agora have changed and should be

- WHM now allows you to globally disable anonymous FTP. If it is disable can you not display the anonymous options under FTP Settings?

WHM:
- Under Server Settings there is now a Tweak FTP Setting option that allows you to install Pure-ftpd and disable anonymous FTP.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to contribute, even if it's just making a donation

I think the MB integration will have to wait because I know Michael will eventually release some new MB skins. Their existing skin is very nice, but it is &too heavy& with graphics. Once I see where MB is headed, I will start working on something solid. More than likely in a couple of months or so.

As for the other updates, I will have them ready later today once I release version 1.4

Bert, did you add the link for Restore multiple backups? I don't see it in the changelog. Also, I'm getting:

when I try to download. Thanks for keeping Xskins updated. It's the only skin I use on all the servers.

XsKin is my favourite. Just one request - if I can - the Edge 84 release has 2 hot items: osCommerce and PHPNuke as the Add-on Scripts. Is is possible to update this skin to accomodate for next button?

I just found out that clicking on PHP link - just beside the PHP version row - xSkin takes you to phpinfo.php which displays PHP information from delusions.cpanel.net &-

We know have 1.3 installed and let WHM install and update new xskins.

How can we upgrade to 1.4 because WHM doesn't upgrade it...

This is the way it is supposed to be. delusions.cpanel.net must be the name of the machine you are in. phpinfo.php reads the &hostname& of the machine.

Domenico, it seems like Nick never updated the Xskins. I have sent him the files, but I know for a fact that he did not update 1.3 or 1.4. You will have to install it manuall. To do so, download it from http://skins.pronic.biz/

Actually, not sure why, but the PHP info is wrong - I insist - it still shows not my computer - it's not only the name but the whole config is wrong - is it possible that there is mistake (in cPanel's xSkin code?)
