Adding Squirrelmail to your theme is not the hard part. Installing Squirrelmail itself, adding the plugins and testing them to make sure they work, then setting up a postgresql database to store all the users prefs is a timely and exacting art.

So far so good... SquirrelMail is up and running just fine on our Server and no problems - yet! <says she with fingers crossed>
Seems to be behaving itself very well.

I am now having a looksee at how to get it happening in cpanel.
Moments like these I feel that I permanently operate in an alternate universe :D Installing SquirrelMail was no problem, but putting it into cpanel ????? Hmmmm...

If I just add the straight link into the webmail html page in the cpanel files.... that should work fine, however, the user would have to manually log in.

Would that be fine, do you think, or should I investigate the whole cpanel tag links?

Don't think so, but you could just install the latest yourself..

Xskins are always updated. If it doesn't update on its own, simply login to WHM and reinstall it, this will upgrade it to the latest version.

Version 6.0 Xskin will be released within the next couple of weeks.

The Xskins have been updated. I don't know if they have been added to WHM yet, but you can always download the latest version and install manually:

I remember you had some kind of step by step install guide for squirrelmail in the forums but I don't seem to be able to locate it. Do you mind giving the URL for it if it's available?

Just as a suggestion, why don't you put a link to the ChangeLog (layer1.cpanel.net/ChangeLog) underneath the link to WHM news at the top? It would be convenient to check whether or not I should upgrade cpanel. Well, I've actually already modified mine to include this, but it would be helpful for others, I think.
