Well, I'd like to startout by saying I LOVE XSkin... it's a great skin overall. The only problem I had with it, was late at night I found myself trying to locate a button and not finding it. So, I decided to make a little less jumbled XSkin.
This is in NO way to downplay Bert's work, some people prefer icons, others prefer links when trying to find information. I'm a link person. Anyway, more information can be found here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=171775

As noted towards the end, cPanel, Inc is going to takeover the script. I don't know when it will be released, so you'll have to bug Nick and Josh about that. Take a look, tell me what you think whether good or bad :).

Good work. If this is infact going to be implemented, I'll switch all my clients from bluelagoon to xskin.

Nice. The only things it needs are:

    • Urchin Integration
    • Fantastico Integration

It has both actually, but I don't have Fantastico or Urchin. Already worked that out with Fantastico and it should be included soon, if it isn't already :).

The file needed for Fantastico auto-detection will be added in the next Fantastico update.

this theme variation has got my vote...

it would be a perfect replacemtn for bluelagoon.

Is it going to become available?

Any word from the cpanel folks on when we may see this theme?

I am still using vertex, just waiting for Xtext to be released.

This is a screenshot of our mock-up, you just replace the SquirrelMail logo with your hosting company logo.

    Hi,

OK, I'll add Fantastico support back in and post it to the board. We removed it as CP Complete will have it's own automated script installer, so Fantastico wouldn't be needed.

CP Complete isn't finished yet, although if you post or subscribe to the previously mentioned thread you can keep track of it's progress. You can get me on MSN Messenger (when it works) at msn@amard.com or email me at robert.kerry@amard.com

    Here you go:

    • Unzip cpc.zip
    • Upload your company logo to the images folder and name it "logo.gif"
    • FTP the entire folder (cpc) up to your server
    • Log into SSH and move the folder to /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/cpc
    • Just to be safe "chown -Rf root:root cpc"

    amard,

Do you plan to keep this skin up to date?

I wish Cpanel would take on this skin as they have the rest of the x series.

    Hi,

We will not be able to update the free version, although the skin which integrates into our CP Complete system will be kept upto date.

    Thanks,

    Rob
