    Hello,
    I set up a forum at:http://www.seemobilehomes.info
Whenever a new user registers, before they log in, they must respond to an e-mail confirmation sent to them. The trouble is, if the user has a Yahoo mail account, they never get it. As a test, I signed up for the forum with a non-Yahoo address, and I got the confirmation e-mail. No, their mail didn't wind up in the Bulk Folder/there is a filter blocking it/I have never been a spammer/etc.

Further, if I send an e-mail FROM myname@seemobilehomes.info, it reaches my Yahoo account. However, if I send an e-mail TO myname@seemobilehomes.info, I set a "Failure Notice" from MAILER-DAEMON@ yahoo.com:
    ---
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following
    addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

    <myname@seemobilehomes.info>:
    Sorry, I couldn't find any host named seemobilehomes.info. (#5.1.2)
    ---

Could this be due to this fact re: seemobilehomes.info:

Reverse IP: 440 other sites hosted on this server.[/B

I will TRY communicating with Yahoo on this matter as well, but I have a bad feeling about their ability/willingness to help me on this already.

If anyone has some ideas, I am open.

    Rick

Thanks for the info pross -- I checked out dnsstuff.com and noticed all the "Warnings" and "Failures" for seemobilehomes.info!
I think Yahoo is a bit over-zealous in their filtering, but I have notified the company that is hosting my site to see if they can "fix" this.

Again, thank you for the swift response! :)

Sigh... I have written to my hosting provider twice about this problem, but have gotten no response from him
Is there anything I can do myself?
    I have cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)

I see under Mail/ Modify Mail Exchanger (MX Entry) this:

    DNS File MX Entry Maintenance

    Current MX Entries

    Domain.......................................MX entry

    seemobilehomes.info.......................Priority.......Entry
    ..................................................0...............seemobilehomes.info

This configuration scenario, however, seems woefully lacking.
    Any clues/roadmaps folks?

    Thanks,
    Rick

Do you have root access on the server? Or are you running on a shared hosting account/reseller account?

You can add the SPF records from your reseller WHM account, but the rDNS is way more important. Without that, you will always have problems.
