Let's say my user creates an ftp. When he does, that new user appears to have full access to the space alloted to the account.
I'm getting myself confused here.
bob signs up for account. www.bob.com
he adds ftp for wilma. When wilma logs in, she can see everything www.bob.com has, not just specific directories.
make sense?

hi jimd

thats strange.. i dont think that can happen when bob adds another ftp user.

normally whenever you create ftp users from cpanel it will create a user specific directory in your main www root
thats /home/bom/www/ftpusername
and that ftpusername will have access only to his folder and he /she cant see any other folders in the www

best regards,
