Hello, this is the main domain of the server lets call it example.com there are ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com . (I have root privileges). In the account example I have the owner as the root but even when I changed it to example I had the same problem. Of course example account has the privilege to create unlimited subdomains.

When I try from the cpanel acount of example.com to create a new subdomain “subdomaintest” I get the error “The system experienced a problem during the creation of the “subdomaintest” subdomain.”

This is the log in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

    Code:
[2015-12-26 10:57:49 +0200] warn [cpanel] Cpanel::Wrap::send_cpwrapd_request The adminbin “domain” in the “Cpanel” namespace call to function “ADD” ended prematurely: The subprocess reported error number 1 when it ended.: namespace=[Cpanel] module=[domain] function=[ADD]: set error in context subdomain: raw_response=[{"statusmsg":"The adminbin “domain” in the “Cpanel” namespace call to function “ADD” ended prematurely: The subprocess reported error number 1 when it ended.","mode":"simple","status":1,"version":"2.4","data":"You do not have permission to create subdomains of the server’s hostname.","exit_code":256,"timeout":0,"error":1,"action":"run"}] at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Wrap.pm line 116, <$socket> line 1.

There are a few settings here that may be helpful:
WHM »Server Configuration »Tweak Settings, Domains tab.
